Do you photograph weddings?
Yes, a handful each year. Small, family-centred days where the people matter more than the production.
I work quietly, go with the flow. I don’t stage anything and spend minimal time on group/couple portraits.
Dates within the next few months often fit best, and I’m happy to book further out when it’s a good match.

How does a documentary event photographer work?
No posing, no directing, no cheesy smiles, or looking straight at the camera.
It also means no pressure. Everyone can be themselves, and enjoy the event without feeling pressured to pose, which ensures that the photographs authentically reflect the genuine atmosphere of the occasion.
Unposed portraits
While my primary approach is to document the family event in a candid and unscripted manner, I also understand the significance of capturing timeless portraits. I’ll seamlessly blend natural, unposed portraits into the day, ensuring that key moments and family members are beautifully highlighted.
Posed Portraits
I understand the importance of getting posed portraits at events. Some want them, some don’t. If you do, I’ll make sure to include these more traditional shots alongside the documentary-style photos to give you a complete and beautiful collection that reflects your family event.
