When I met with Tomás and Elaine a few weeks prior to their wedding, they told me a few things might not go according to plan.
- The B&B where Elaine, her bridesmaids and family was supposed to stay in the previous night was under construction and might not be ready. Well. They were promised it would, but that the scaffoldings would still be on the outside!
- Their priest, Father Ray Kelly, might not be able to officiate their ceremony as he was going through the Semi-Final of Britain’s Got Talent.
The couple was very relaxed about it all and we laughed about their quite unique struggles!
In the end, the house (Tom Blake House in Kells) was ready (yes, with scaffoldings) and absolutely stunning. And Father Ray Kelly wasn’t in England competing for Britain’s Got Talent but instead sang a few songs for their wedding ceremony.
The rest of the day went smoothly with smiles and laughs all around. June Wedding in Clonabreany House with sun and ice-cream and singing birds and a lovely walk around the domain.
