It took me a while to share this wedding with you, but looking at those images in the middle of winter is only going to make you like them more!
Photographing this amazing colourful wedding along with Leanne Keaney was a truly amazing experience.
James got ready in his mother’s house with his siblings, nephew and niece. If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I love places that have a soul and this house was just heaven for me. In the meantime, Anderson got ready at The Millhouse with Leanne and we organised their first look on the Hill of Slane, another place that played a big part in James’s childhood.
From then on, guests were gifted with a series of surprises. I am sure they’ll remember James and Anderson’s entrances for the rest of their lives: one on a flowered bike and the other coming down a canoe on the River Boyne (the staff at The Millhouse were half joking about him ending up in Newgrange).
Their ceremony was very sweet and funny, and the Brazilian singer nearly made me shed a tear.
The speeches might have been my favourite part of the day: guests enjoying the beautiful weather, and speakers delivering funny and emotional words. (This time I wasn’t the one shedding a tear.)
Enough of me talking, please enjoy this selection of images from the day!
