If you are travelling to Dublin, Ireland and would like to be in your holiday photographs, why not hire a professional photographer (me!) for one or two hours?
Special occasion or not, some holidays deserve to be captured by a professional. We make some wonderful memories when travelling, but it’s hard to enjoy our time while being behind the camera, and there is always someone missing on the picture!
Dublin City Centre is a great location for couple, engagement, maternity and family sessions but my favourite places are on the outskirt of the city and include mountain views, beautiful sandy beaches, cliffs and castles.
As a French girl who landed in Dublin ten years ago, I started by doing extensive travelling around Ireland and discovered some amazing locations. This country really offers some of the most beautiful landscapes in the world, especially when the light is right.
As a wedding and family photographer, I have experience photographing both families and couples. My documentary approach means that your session will be very relaxed. All we have to do is agree on a location and activity and I will photograph you as you interact with each other naturally whether it’s taking a walk on the beach, a wander in Temple Bar or having a pint in a typical Irish pub.
If you are looking to get a few posed portraits, we will also allocate 15 minutes at the end of the session for lifestyle portraits.
Pick my brain and use me as a guide! It’s always a lot easier to travel with someone who knows the city. I would be more than happy to discuss locations ahead of the session and give you my favourite places to visit for the rest of your trip, in Dublin, Connemara or Kerry!
I know how stressful it can be to plan a photo session in a country like Ireland where the weather is (very) changeable. Thankfully we have a great weather forecast website called met.ie which is very reliable. However, unless we are in the middle of a dry spell, they are still not able to predict the weather accurately for more than one day at a time.
This is why I believe in flexibility for outdoor sessions and I will make sure to allow for a change of date and time if the weather isn’t cooperative and your own schedule allows for it.
This being said, dramatic weather sometimes makes for the most beautiful photographs!
Send me an email to let me know what you have in mind in terms of the length and location of the session and I will send you my vacation stories pricing guide.
Contact me as soon as you can to make sure that I can be available during your stay. I am usually booked 4-8 weeks in advance and sometimes earlier during the summer.
