Watch the video to take a peek into what a photo session with me look and feel like. I can tell you how relaxed it is, but I thought it was better to show you.

Once you contact me to schedule a session, I’ll send you a link to complete the booking form (and Terms & Conditions), followed by a link to pay the session fee. Once your form is complete and your reservation fee payment is received, you are booked on my calendar!
I offer a pre-session consultation, via phone or Skype. I would love to hear your family’s story, so that I can be ready to document each of the characters, their relationships, and what makes your family uniquely you. We can decide on a location that best embodies “home” to your family, and I’ll address any questions or fears that you have.
Depending on the session type you opt for, the session will either last 60 minutes or 3-4 hours. In the near future, I will be offering full day sessions.
All my clients have said that they were able to relax during the session and it was an enjoyable moment and this is very important to me. I want everyone to feel like they can just be themselves and don’t need to look at the camera or behave in a certain way.
If we opt for a short documentary/lifestyle session, I will direct you a little in terms of positioning so that I can take photographs of you in the best light. I will interact with children a little or might encourage a change of activities. In pure documentary sessions, I will not interfere at all. In both cases, I will capture genuine, authentic moments of your family.
This is why the location is very important and must be somewhere you feel connected to. Home is the perfect place for most sessions and with longer sessions, we can combine more than one location.
The great thing about my style of photography is that you don’t need to worry about your children behaving, posing or having a tantrum. I want them to have fun and it’s easier for them to do if you are relaxed and don’t have specific expectations. Who said a photo session need to be stressful?
Approximately 2 weeks after your session, we will meet again for what I call the “Viewing and Ordering Session”. I usually pack my laptop and samples and travel back to my families’ home at a time where all decision makers can be present.
The viewing starts with a slideshow of your images and this is one of the highlights of the process for me to be able to see your reaction live!
I only show you the best images of your session, fully edited either in colour or black & white. After the slideshow, we will go through the images again more slowly for you to pick your favourites. This is usually easier than it sounds because you just have to let your heart speak. From there, we will choose which products best work for your images and I will be there to guide you all the way. I can even show you what your images look on your walls!
Most families go for an album to keep all of their favourite photographs and add some wall art for those images they want to see every day. Small prints also make a great gift for family members.
Your products will be ready to enjoy approximately 3 weeks after ordering! Albums may take a bit longer.
We will plan your photo session together so that I can produce images that tell your story authentically. At the end of our journey, I will proudly hand over to you beautiful, tangible products to enjoy for years to come.
