Glendalough is such an amazing site located in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains National Park. The seasons will affect the landscape dramatically but I wouldn’t be able to say which I like best.
Only once did I see it with a blue sky and like everywhere else in Ireland, everything lit up and the contrasts were amazing. The reason I went so many times is that (just like Howth), this is one of the places we bring French visitors.
Drive there or take the St Kevin’s Bus Service from Dublin (Leaves at 11h30 from Dublin and arrives 1pm / Then leaves at 4:30pm).
