It is really hard not to make a very cheesy “awwww” when seeing a dad with a tiny baby in a wrap, brushing his lips on the top of her head, isn’t it?
Talking about babywearing, you might already know Willemein from Billie’s Babywearing, one of the most famous babywearing consultant in Dublin. She hosts a “Sling Cafe” every month at the Elbow Room (Dublin 7) and I interviewed her on the blog two years ago (click here to see how much Fenna has changed since.)
Fenna became a big sister last October and I went to their home to document this special time in their lives. Ellen was five weeks old then and her personality was definitely starting to show. Willemein and Ronan wanted to capture what their morning routine usually look like, with the four of them in the bed, nursing, cuddling and playing.
Fenna brought her dinosaurs everywhere she went (and knows which one is the Styracosaurus), asked her daddy to sing all the Christmas songs he knew and screamed-giggled when George, the tickle monster, started attacking her.
After a well deserved breakfast (involving jam in her croissant) Fenna showed me how she can now photograph everything with her very own digital camera, and asked her daddy to play horses in the toddler carrier. I love Fenna’s imagination :)
In-home newborn/baby & family photography sessions
Home is the best place for newborn and small baby photo sessions. Everything you need is right there at your disposal. There is no need to worry about packing a bag, stress about being on time and get everyone into the car. More importantly, this is where you live, where you brought your baby home and looking at your photographs 5, 10, 20 years from now will bring that feeling right back.
If you are expecting right now, get in touch so we can have a chat early on. Sessions tend to be booked out two months in advance.
